Redglass Pictures is a New York based production studio committed to crafting compelling narratives that inspire and illuminate. From large public installations to short pieces for the web, we strive for that epic, surprising, and sometimes emotional moment of chemistry between the story and the audience. We are established filmmakers and writers with an eye for new media, interactivity and installations.

Sarah Klein

Director/Producer

Sarah Klein founded Redglass Pictures as a platform for producing documentaries, web shorts, video installations and mixed media content. She believes that great storytelling should exist in new forms and spaces and she’s committed to using new technology to push those boundaries. She recently finished a large-scale permanent installation for the National Museum of American Jewish History. Her work has been shown on HBO, PBS, Arte, and in large-scale corporate and museum installations all over the world.

Tom Mason

Director of Photography/Editor

Tom Mason is a filmmaker who has helped to craft much of the look and feel of Redglass Pictures’ body of work through a visual style that supports strong storytelling. He has worked on long-form documentary projects for HBO, PBS, OWN, and ARTÉ, and shorts for The New York Times, Newsweek, The Daily Beast, and The Sundance Channel among others. Tom has a keen interest in blending diverse media and new technology to create innovative story experiences. He has been a guest speaker at Syracuse University and The New School, in addition to his ongoing role as an adjunct professor at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
